trying to do a bootcamp install and nothing works

I portioned the HD using boot camp utility 4.0 and my hard drive is egypeted but not the bootcamp part ion that is ms dos formatted from boot camp and i seem to be unable to get the part ion to app are so that I can install windows 7.
