I did something silly on my MacBook and now I'm not so sure how to fix it. A while ago I was going to install Windows so I made a 10 GB partition with Disk Utility. I never got around to actually installing it, though, and eventually decided against it. I was trying to get those 10 GB back on the Mac partition, and somehow managed to delete the Windows partition entirely. I was being kind of careless and have no idea what I did. Now under the Partition tab in Disk Utility, it says that out of my 465.8 GB hard drive, I have 455.8 on the Macintosh partition, and 10 GB of "free space." I just tried expanding the Mac partition to 465 GB, and it's been "modifying the partition map" for about an hour now. Uggghhh, what did I do?? :(
