Hello,
Just bought a new mac, really like it. Unfortunatly, I had bought not long ago a HP printer that still works fine (HP1020) that I am trying to install on my mac. I installed the driver, now I'm trying to get rid of it, can't seem to do this, can't find out where to delete it.
Somebody gave me a new driver which is older but apparently will work with Mac...
Can anybody help?
M.

Macs come with a ridiculous number of printer drivers preinstalled. If memory serves, roughly 2 GB of the default Leopard install is printer drivers. It's possible you were just using one of those.

If not, is there really any harm in just leaving it there? HP may have a way to uninstall drivers, but if it's not hurting anything...

Hi again,
The reason I want to disinstall the version of the driver in the computer is because it does not work. It is a newer version than the one I want to install who has apparently worked for somebody else.

Can you install the older one or will it not let you do that.
