So I had originally partitioned my HD to use bootcamp to run windows. Everything went fine when I did that last year, but I hardly ever use the windows side now, and I want to delete the partition to free up more HD space for myself. And I followed it to just delete the bootcamp. I then tried to drag the corner of my mac HD to recapture the previously partitioned portion and it's coming up with an error. Specifically this one:

I'm not sure what that means or what I need to do to fix it, but I'm hoping someone here does.

Also, I'm using a 15" macbook pro unibody if that makes any difference. Thanks.
 
You could try booting from your OS X install disc and try using Disk Utility from the install disc, it might be because you're currently booted from the disc that you're trying to resize.
