Long story short, I am trying to learns spanish and have enrolled in a class. They have a website that lets you go in and get the materials for the class. There is a folder full of MP3s with dialog in them.
I was not able to simply copy the folder. I just got an empty folder even though there are 52 files in it.
After ages of trying everything I could think of, I copied each file individually and saved them to my desktop and put them in a folder. I burned this folder to a disc but when I attempt to rip it into Itunes it won't see it when I put it into the drive. I then created a new playlist on my laptop and put the files there. I tried to sync my phone but it tells me the files need to be in my library. I tried saving the files to Icloud and it tells me it won't. I guess it will only save Apple content there. (it does not stop me from trying when I highlight all the tracks in the folder however, so it just may be doing it right now)
When I look at the track info they are indeed MP3s, so I don't understand why Itunes doesn't recognize it and let me rip it as though it's one of my own discs. When I created the disc it's like it isn't formatted right for Itunes to see it. I tried to sync my phone but the tracks are only in a playlist, not in my library and it gives me a warning that without Ibooks installed it can't sync, as though it sees them as books, not MP3s. What gives? Any ideas?
Thanks.

OK....I got it. Despite telling me I couldn’t do it the playlist I created on my laptop went into the cloud and over onto my phone. The only issue is the order is now messed up. I’m just going to leave it as it is because the first 18 files are in order further down the list and I can start playing them from there first. The order of all the others is of no concern.
