trying to get to my pc from macbook over my network

i have a macbook pro running osx 10.6.4 and i want to connect to my windows desktop running vista.

i have a wireless router with two windows machine hardwired via ethernet to the router. only want to connect to one of windows machine

how do i do this? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
