trying to help a friend-urgent question about mitime

iphone 4 on 4.1 with 01.59.00 on t-mobile. mitime is saying no sim detected error. I read I could reinstall the software, but could not activate with a phonebook sim. how should I activate it then? with the pwnagetool activated software?

I also have a att sim card if needed. How should setup the jailbreal (tiny+limerain with oem ipsw) or activated pwnagetool custom?

you could do any of those 2 options, If it was me, I would go the PwnageTool route!

Don't hactivate with Pwnage though. If u got an AT&T sim use that to activate officially.

yes, the best is unchecking the activation (which is the hactivation on PT) and use the AT&T sim to activate it officially...
Just throwing this: have you installed ultrasn0w so you can be unlocked? if the problem is only w/ mitime then you should know that mitime is only partially supported on 4.1 for now...
