Trying to inject contacts SQLITEDB file into phone

I just updated to 6.0 and had a hiccup along the way where all my contacts, pictures, and settings were deleted. I've managed to get my pictures back, however I'm trying to inject the AddressBook SQLITEDB file which contains all my old contacts with no success. I can't restore from backup as my phone just reverts to a brand new phone on 6.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
