Hi, I've been working on this for about 8 hours and I'm going nuts. I am using an Imac OS X version 10.5.8. I purchased a Canon MP560 today and can't figure out the problem. I don't even know where to start. I'm trying to connect the wireless printer using Airport. There is nothing listed when I click on 'Preferences- Print and Fax'. I read the instructions that came with the printer several times, up to a point. I clicked 'wireless lan setup' on the printer. It's asking me for a lan access point and a wep key. I've used Google until I can't even think anymore. I read Airport is like a router, or can be used as a router. The blue light is on on the printer, and it says it's searching for a connection but can find one. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks..

I bought a Canon MX860. Its wireless.
There was a special pamphlet for wireless on OS X I believe.

First had to connect printer via USB. Installed drivers etc.
Selected something about wireless and disconnect from USB.
Works great.
Thats the simple perhaps inaccurate version.

Thanks Flynnstone, I have to go out and get a USB cable tomorrow. I'll do that and check the instructions again when my eyes can focus.

Just checked the manuals.
There is one that says "Getting Started =Read me first=".
and another that "Getting Started for Mac Users".
I followed the for Mac users first.
