Trying to jailbreak an iPhone 4 with iOS5 via Redsn0w 0.9.9b8...

Hey guy -
Sorry to be a total newbie but I've searched everywhere and am having no luck. I'm trying to jailbreak my iPhone but whenever I get to the stage of putting it into DFU mode I get the following message:

"No identifying data fetched"

...followed by nothingness. Any ideas? D. I need to fetch the original IPSW? I looked around the web/my Mac and I can't find it anywhere...

My iPhone 4 (it's NOT a 4s) is brand new and has original iOS 5 firmware. Any help would be great!

Alright think I got it: I needed to fetch the IPSW but this was a complication since my phone was brand new and I had never upgraded and hence had no IPSW on my Mac. Thankfully you can still download the file: http://jaxov.com/2011/10/download-i...4-3gs-ipad-1-2-ipod-touch-4g-3g-direct-links/

I'm now jailbroken, yesssssss!
