trying to JB my 3GS ios4

cant do it the redmondpie way, i have a newer bootrom, and have only used the spirit jb on it....any other way guys?

I like you was very curious to get it done now the only reason I could is because I have the older bootrom the guys over at xsellize have some forums on how to do it but you have to old the bootrom which may be your prob

how do i know what bootroom i have and the cutoff?? any idea?
