trying to login to mac from windows

i have a powerbook g3 and it has osx 10.2.8. previously i looked up on the net on how to file sharing between mac and osx. and i had it working, i was able to login into mac from winxp by putting in my username and password for the mac and transferring files between the two. now when i try to work up the same arrangement by putting in my username and password, it gives me the same dialog box but have the name of my computer coming first then the username:
from this: to this:

usernameeanut username:value1234/peanut
password:****** password:******
