Hi
I am trying to recover some playlists that I set up. They were there until I tried to move them to my iphone - they wouldn't move so I tried syncing - that is when they all disappeared. When I try to recover them using Time Machine or Backup Guru the recovery (the "new" I-tunes after it loads up) is the same as my current I-Tunes - missing playlists are still MIA. Any ideas? I spent a few nights on them and really don't want to have to re-do them.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure iTunes playlists are stored in your "iTunes Library.xml" file. Maybe try manually hunting for the file in your time machine backup and drag it back to the corresponding position on your hard drive. Better yet, I guess you could drag the entire iTunes library back over with the xml file in it.
