I jailbroke my Ipad2 and decided there wasn't anything I really needed from the jailbreak so decided to restore and put 4.3.4 on.

The first thing I did was try and reset all settings via the Ipad. All it does is sit there with the screen with the Apple logo and the progress bar underneath. The progress bar does not move.

I was able to restart it via holding the home and sleep/awake button.

I got it back.

I then tried the restore through Itunes. After downloading 4.3. it told me that my build was not eligible and refused to update.

How do I get rid of the jailbreak?

Thanks

All you had to do was restore from iTunes .

Anyways u can just update thru iTunes I dont see any reason why it won't update.

Also y wud u wanna get rid of jailbreak when u can do hell lots of things thru it including turn iPad into a phone if it's the 3G version .

It is not restoring from Itunes. It tells me that my build is not eligible.

Where did u download the ipsw from?
Y Don u keep the jailbreak and download winterboard, dreamboard, sbsettings.. iOS devices without jailbreak are piece of crap.

If you want to get rid of it, you need to use iTunes to restore to 4.3.4

Are you letting iTunes restore automatically or are you picking an ipsw?

Second time through Itunes worked. I don't know why the first time gave me the device not eligible.

Thanks for the help.
