Hello, looking for some help here. I was on the Mojave beta and I’m trying to downgrade to High Sierra. I first launched into recovery mode then erased the disk, then upon trying to reinstall the OS I get a message that the disk is locked. Anyone experience that? Any way to “unlock” it myself?

I got on Apple support chat but they weren’t much help and told me I needed to take it to a store.

Whew, looks like I got it. Had to reformat the disk correctly. Been thinking all night that I had ruined the disk because I've restored plenty of Macs but never seen a disk lockup like that. All seems good now.
