trying to watch Apple TV crashes my MBA

Hello,

I have a 2020 intel MBA. When i try to watch tv shows on the TV app, it crashes the mac. I also tried to watch a video on Prime Video and it just doesn't work now.

When i go back to my mac after say a day i get a notification that the computer has restarted itself.

I saw an article on the apple support website saying NVDIA needs to be reset - I actually did this but hasn't helped anything. I also tried to restart. Any ideas?

The computer is about 2 years old and I do actually have applecare on it so I may check with Apple at the store but before I do was wondering if anyone had ideas?

what version of MacOS are you running and are all the updates current? I would first try making sure all updates to the OS is current and see if this fixes your issue...

thank you...and actually you were correct! i did this before i saw your post and suddenly everything is fine.
