Trying To WinSCP After Jailbreak

The jailbreak went well am now looking to change a couple of SMS tones.

I have down loaded WinSCP, should I be able to SSH straight into my phone now?

I'm using the phones IP address then root/alpine and should that be it?...its just i'm getting connection errors/timeouts.

Now the phone is JB is there anything else I should install or settings to change in order to get in it?

if you want to use SSH, you must install openSSH

You know there is this thing called Google that gives really reliable answers and tells you what to read to solve these problems.
