If i convert the videos into ipod format wen i download them will it work on my ipod touch or do i have to convert it into iphone format? Is there a difference between the two really?

It's all about quality. The iPod setting is made for smaller, square screens. The iPhone setting is for larger, rectangle screens.

I'd go with the iPhone setting if you are converting it for the first time. They will play better in iTunes and on the device. File size differences should be nominal too.

BTW, they should all be in the mp4 format.
 
okay so what if i converted most of my videos into ipod format how do i go about chaning them into iphone format?
 
you can convert most movies to "iphone" format right in tubetv. just go to
file > convert files

you can use that to convert them.

Honestly, I'd just leave it. They will still play in iTunes and on any device that plays mp4's. It's just not optimized for the iPhone.

About half of my video library is converted for an iPod and not an iPod Touch. Don't worry too much about it.
