tumblr blog html help (with diagrams and pictures)

Hey everyone, i am new to this and new to html and i need a little help!

Started a blog from a template and want to change it a little..

here is what i want it to look like (ish)

I would like advice on how to...

1. spatter background moving to center
2. current title has a white bar behind it, i want this transparent
3. change the width of the content area
4. add an "about me" section with profile picture
5. subheading moving right

hey can anyone help with this, i have evolved the theme slightly but the whole website is aligned left on windows machines! mac seems to look okay

does anyone know why?? many thanks
