Tumblr on iPad

Hey all. I am getting very aggravated with tumblr on the ipad. how do you search for blogs and pictures on the ipad version of the site? there's NO option to search anything. There's a lot missing from the ipad version and some things are just downright broken. Like customizing your blog, choosing an avatar, etc.. On the dashboard there's the option to explore tags and see who you are following, but thats it. The desktop version has more options by the ones i just listed.

Why isn't Tumblr releasing an ipad app? their website is broken for ipad and this is unacceptable. And there is NO help for using their site on ipad.

Maybe try a different browser other than Safari? Atomic browser - I think you can make it identify as a desktop browser?

i use atomic or dolphin and it works fine with both of those
