Has anyone figured out how to install tun/tap and hamachi on Leopard yet? I have tried putting all of the files in the right places and they show up in ifconfig but they are marked as closed and hamachi wont start because of it.

Any ideas?

Sorry figured out after a few minutes.

You have to delete the installation requirements within the tiget ones to install tun/tap then install hamachi.

Hi,

I had the same problem, but unfortunately I didnt resolve it as quickly as U;

Could give me a hand help me sort it out?

- saying step by step what did you do? - i really would appreciate youre reply;

thanks

Step One: Download tiger version from here

Step Two: Open up the tun and tap packages and remove the "Installation Checks"

Step Three: Run the installation package.

Step Four: Reboot

Now you should be able to breeze through the hamachi install for macs.

sorry, but i dont understand, what do you mean by saying "remove instalation checks"

first of all, im on leopard, so i downloaded this version :http://www-user.rhrk.uni-kl.de/~nissler/tuntap/

after untaring i open : tuntap.mpkg ;

Hamachi is already on my disk, but doesnt want to start:

"
szafirs-MacBook-Pro:~ apple$ hamachi
Hamachi does not seem to be running. Have you run 'hamachi start' ?
szafirs-MacBook-Pro:~ apple$ hamachi start
14 14:11:00.565 [ 0] [11304] tap: connect() failed 2 (No such file or directory)
szafirs-MacBook-Pro:~ apple$
