Tungsten C + Graphite Airport

I'm trying to connect a Tungsten C Palm to an old Graphite Aiport base station. I have WEP enabled, and it sees the network, but it gets to the point of "...Obtaining IP address..." then it freezes. Like, a hard freeze where I have to reset it from the back.

Any ideas how I can get around this??? :confused:
