After running an intensive program (MainStage or Logic in my case) my 2018 MacBook tends not to like to shut off its turbo even if I'm at idle or just browsing Safari etc. its the 2.6 i7 and is quite happy to sit at 4.1ghz according to Power Gadget and at around 79-81c but its a complete waste of electricity and I was looking for a better solution than having to reboot. Any ideas MacBook friends?
