Turbo Sim For 2.2??? AnyOne???

I currently have a 16gb iPhone 3g, I bought it second hand so could not control the fact that the phone had 2.2 installed.

According to the Dev Team a unlock method has been created but only for the 2.1 baseband or lower being that 02.11.07.

Now to my question is there any turbo sim that works with 2.2 that I can buy. I reside in Puerto Rico and would like to be able to use my iPhone outside of the limits of At&t and being the iphone 2nd hand, well I can't really waltz into a At&t store and demand they give a me a new iphone 3g, I am not even currently paying the obligated data plan.

Can any one help me with sound, logic and tested advice.



One more question :

Can I jailbreak the iphone without having to activate it all over again?

If your baseband is what comes with 2.2 then the turbosim will not work. You should have had the 2.1 baseband with 2.2 for turbosim to work. I am currently on 2.2 with 2.1 baseband on Vodaphone and it works perfectly fine.

I believe sooner or later the dev team might come out with the baseband downgrade option.
