Turn By Turn Navigation - Australia

Just wondering if anyone from Australia is able to get Turn by Turn to work?

I have a 4S, and can tell Siri to direct me, and she loads up the route but from there it just doesn't do much... I still get the Green street signs, but she doesn't tell me when to turn, and if I go a different way, it doesn't recalculate..

Curious as to whether its just me, or an Australian thing, as I haven't heard anyone from the US saying it doesn't work....
 
I'm in a smaller city in Western Canada and it does not work as expected. Same as original poster.
 
you're not alone. i live here in sydney and i tried the turn by turn navigation many times here but i couldn't make it work. But i hhink by the time the final version is out it will work.
 
doesn't work in New Zealand at all,
have asked siri and she can't do it here.

we can load it via maps it self, but no voice feed back
 
This is very odd. This doesn't seem to be a thing that should be US only? Shouldn't it just be telling you the existing route directions out loud?
