Turn off iBooks auto night mode in main bookshelf?

Hi all,

Is there a way to completely disable iBooks auto night mode in iOS 8 (on the iPad)? I know how to turn it off while reading a book, but the auto night feature still comes on when I go back to my lists and bookshelves. I find the night feature very annoying while scrolling through all of my books. I just can't seem to figure out how to keep the main interface of iBook in daytime mode at all times.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Ya, the whole Night Mode feature is pretty buggy and annoying. Mine is constantly switching back and forth between the two modes. And about one out of every five times the whole app freezes and needs to be rebooted.

As far as I know there is no fix for these issues yet. I'm sure there will be an update very soon tho.
