Turn off Illuminated Keyboard in Windows?

Is there a way to disable (not just turn down the level of intensity each time) the illuminated keyboard in Windows (Boot Camp)? I have a unibody 15" MBP. Thanks.

Apple doesn't provide a way, but I believe that it could be just a software issue. There were several times when my backlit keyboard would turn off completely (not just dimmed) under very dark conditions, after coming out from sleep mode. To turn it on again I'd just need to adjust the brightness of the keyboard light up or down. To turn it off, well....

I was afraid of that...oddly, I've noticed that it occasionally fades in and out in Windows (Boot Camp). Let's hope there's a software update for disabling it sooner than later.
