Turn off Iphone 3gs's automatic ipod start

I have a jailbroken iPhone 3gs and I'm wanting to see if there is a way to disable the ipod automatically starting when I dock it to my radio.

I like to listen to ESPN and I have the ESPN radio app. When I dock the phone the ipod player automatically starts. So I have to go to the ipod app and press stop, close the ipod app and then start ESPN.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to disable this autostart feature. Any thoughts?
