Turn off music controls on watch when BT streaming?

When I’m streaming music from my iPhone to my car, after upgrading to 4 my watch now shows the music controls. When I switch music sources in the radio, or when the Bluetooth streaming stops when I get out of my car, my watch music controls remain until I press the side button. What a pain considering I don’t even use the remote controls on the watch during Bluetooth streaming. Is there anyway to turn this off?
