Turn off shortcut keys in Aperture

I almost always watch TV shows or listen to music via iTune while I am working on my images in Aperture. But I hate when I want to skip a song or episode and I push the F9/Skip forward button on my keyboard and it moves me to the next image in Aperture. So I have to click into iTunes and then switch songs/episodes.

Is there any way to turn this thing off in Aperture?
