Hi!

I use my watch to teach -- it controls Keynote and MP3s.

On Keynote especially, everytime I lower my wrist it takes away a crucial interface (going backwards on the slides).

How can I disable the 'great/cool' feature of when I put my wrist down slightly it dims and hides the APP I was using?

I couldn't find the answer online!

Sincerely,
Michael

it's called always on display
the other option to this is the display turning completely off instead of dimming.

there are a couple options in the settings app for your phone that might help keep it on a bit longer,
go to general -> wake screen
you can set how long your app stays selected, which will prevent the watch face from automatically taking back over
and the "on tap" setting will let you set how long the display stays on, but you only get up to 70 seconds.

you battery life will really suffer if the screen stayed on all the time.
even that dim screen really eats into your battery, you can easily get an extra 12+ hours of run time just from turning off always-on
plus, I'm not sure how long the watch screen is rated to be at full intensity. it might be fine, it might lead to heat issues since the display more than likely makes a bit of heat when it's fully on, it might lead to burn in issues. The only people who could tell you definitively about that are deep in a lab somewhere in Cupertino.

It might be better to invest in one of those little RF clicker remotes
search for "Office presentation remotes"
you can just pretend you're giving a ted talk.

App is an abbreviation, not an anagram, so it doesn't get capitalized, unless you would capitalized the full word, like at the beginning of the sentence, and then only the first letter.
