I've spent about 3 hours researching playing with some software (MidiKeys, MidiPipe, Easy MIDI free) and still am not getting it to do what I want, which is.....
I want to turn a second, corded USB apple Keyboard into a MIDI device for programs like Garageband, Logic Pro, Kontakt, Maschine 2.
I'd like to keep my wireless Logitech K360 with USB dongle as the regular keyboard.
That make sense?
And I'm not talking about a piano style keyboard, I just want to map any and all keys on my Apple Keyboard to act, for example, like a drum/beat kit.
I THINK some of the MIDI software I mentioned might do the job, but before I really researched the how-tos, I thought I'd check here.
But the important thing is that I want my computer to recognize my Apple (full) keyboard as a MIDI device and my Logitech as a regular keyboard.
Is this possible?
