I heard that you can take the old hard drive out of a mac and turn it into an external hard drive, where can I buy a case for the drive once its out?

Thanks

You can get an enclosure at your local consumer electronics store or on the interwebs at sites like newegg.com or tigerdirect.com etc. Just make sure the enclosure is for the type of hard disk you have and has the connections you need.

Be careful & forwarned!

This job is sooo excruciatingly difficult & painful, and will take an irreplaceably large chunk of time out of your hopelessly miserable life!!!!!!!!!

approximately 5 minutes, or 10, if you include taking the HD out of the machine!
