Turning LTE off

Has anyone turned LTE off to conserve battery? If yes go much does it actually help?

I turned it off for a few days when I was mostly around wifi but didnt notice that much battery improvement.

I have it off only because I know LTE wont be in my area before ip6 (sad I know). I also have not noticed any difference in battery life.

When you are connected to wifi the mobile data is automatically disabled btw

Even tho I don't have it where I live I keep it on because I'm in other areas that have LTE.
