Turning off FaceTime doesn't get rid of the icon on iOS 5 GM?

I have only used FaceTime once so I usually turn it off. On my ATT iPhone 4 I'd turn it off and the spot where the FACETIME icon is will usually be a HOLD button.

In iOS 5 GM, I have it turned off and FACETIME icon is still there. Can you not rid of the icon and go back to the HOLD button when turning off FACETIME in iOS 5 GM?
