Turning off iPhone on iOS 8.1

I just got the latest version of iOS today but when I turn off my iPhone, the circle loading logo doesn't appear right away, it comes on about 10-20 seconds after. Is this normal? On my previous iOS the spinning loading logo appeared right away but not for this one

Yes. That's normal.
All iOS 8 devices I saw do the same.

Oh ok, it shouldn't affect anything in a bad way even though I pressed on the sleep button and home button at the same time? (Hard reset) a while ago?

Nope, it's fine.
