Turning off shuffle

Has anyone had any success turning off shuffle in the iPod app on the iPad? Normally I love shuffle, but it's also shuffling my podcasts, and I'd like to turn it off. I was able to turn it off on my iPod touch no problem, but there doesn't seem to be a shuffle button. Or am I just not seeing the button?

you need to select the cover image of the track that's playing. upon selecting the cover image it brings you to a full screen image, tap again and the shuffle button will be on the upper right hand side of the screen. updated with screen shot. took inspiration from segfault to add image.

That looks like a podcast. Try a song. I know that on the iPhone podcasts don't have the shuffle button but songs do.
