turning off the light of the power jack

Hello!
I would like to avoid turning off the light of the power jack on my ibook g4.
Does anyone have an idea of how to do?

It does not turn off if it is plugged in on your ibook and plugged on the wall.

Nope, no way to ''turn it off'' unless you wanna go digging around in there and taking it out yourself... But I'd guess that'd be extremely tricky and darn right ludicrous just to remove a light. I quite like the lights myself, I wouldn't know why you'd want to get rid of it?

Buy a new third-party, after-market power supply. They usually don't come with the lights. At least I've never seen one like that unless it was Apple's.

The best way to do this is by taking a razor when the unit is off and slicing the ring and contacts.
