I've noticed that (besides covering the screen with your palm) you can turn it off by rotating your wrist away from you, which is normal, like the screen going off by putting your arm down. I have Raise to Wake off, screen timeout at 15 sec. That being said, sometimes when I do that my screen wont go off right away. It takes a couple times. Same goes for the covering it with my palm. It only happens every once in a while and I noticed it's usually after a notification or swiping up the control panel from the bottom. Has anyone else noticed? I did put a screen protector on my watch and don't recall this happening prior to that so maybe that's what it is. I guess the only way to test that would be to take it off but I figured I'd see if anyone else noticed the same or had the same happen (or any other weird things a screen protector might cause) before I do that so I could maybe avoid having to buy another one.

My screen turning on when I was not looking used to drive me crazy!

After a few days I just forgot about it when I saw how good the battery lasted.
Yeah I'm sure this is all stuff that I'll eventually just stop paying attention to too much lol. This is the first Apple Watch I've had, and only for over a week, so I'm still getting used to its quips.

All I can say is relax and enjoy the hardware. The battery should last all day without having to turn anything off.

It's been great so far. Have had it off the charger since yesterday morning (and I turn it off at night) and its currently at 43%. I havent upgraded to 3.2.2 yet but I've been seeing some people saying theyve gotten even better battery life since the update so we'll see if it gets even better

I updated and see little to no difference. I just charge it every night and not even worry about the battery.

Hope you enjoy!
