Turning on Internet Sharing breaks access to Samba servers?

I've noticed that whenever I enable Internet Sharing in System Preferences in 10.6.4, I'm no longer able to access Samba servers ('Connection Failed') by their name, only their IP address works.
Does anyone know what's up?
