Did anyone else wake up today to scenes and accessories missing from HomeKit? I went to bed last night and everything was fine. I woke up and tried to run my scene to open my garage door and Siri doesn't understand. So I look at the phone and sure enough my garage light and door have vanished along with probably 10 other scenes. Other scenes that don't include those missing accessories also missing.

What's weird is when I opened the Home app today it gave me a splash screen about the HomeKit updates. I upgraded to iOS 13.2 when it was first released same with the HomePod software. Incredibly frustrating to have everything setup and working and then for Apple to just blow it up. Tempted to switch back to Alexa, but I really don't want to go through the hassle of selling the HomePods.

edit: also all of my icons for each accessory have reverted to their originals. Minor, but annoying none the less. Oh and all my automations are gone. What a joke.

I guess I'll update this incase anyone else runs into this issue.....

I talked to Apple support and while I was on the phone it dawned on me. I had setup and iPhone 5 so my girlfriend could use Siri in the bedroom where I don't have a HomePod (she uses Android). Well this phone had died awhile back and she hadn't been using it so I didn't think much of it. Well because of this iPhone 5 update I decided to turn it on last night to update it. For whatever reason this reverted my Home back to a previous state before I had added in the garage accessories. So basically it erased these accessories from my Home setup. Incredibly annoying and really shouldn't happen, but it is what it is. Had to re-add the few accessories and redo some rooms, but it's fixed.

I updated the thread title to reflect that, just incase someone else has the same issue.

No kidding! That just confirmed my suspicions. A few times I lost a good deal of my HomeKit setup as well and I started noticing it happened after signing in to an iPhone 4S. I gave that phone to my little kids to play with it and stopped signing into it with my AppleID.
