Turning on problem

When trying to turn my phone on, I sometimes have to attempt pressing the side key 5 times, before the phone switches on. Other times, it turns on within 5 seconds. The side keeps feels fine and works well for everything else. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

You’re either not pressing the button hard enough or are not holding it pressed down long enough. Or both.
