Turning screen?

The other day i updated my mac to the latest and greatest snow leopard version, but now I noticed that the "turning screen" effect when changing your account is gone. On the whole it looks faster but I did kind of like the effect. Has this to do with the new snow leopard update or have i toggled a secret option somewhere?

I'm still getting the "turning effect" when fast switching users. I'm not sure there's an option to change the behavior.😕
