I noticed that Whatsapp and iOS seems to not get along together. We always see people complaining about whatsapp on ios, no matter what the ios version is. Since switching to ios i also experience problem with whatsapp, and its very annoying because in my country everyone only uses whatsapp.

Most common Problems :
- Soemone call us on whatsapp but phone do not ring, and once we open whatsapp we get missed call notification
- Notification for messages are delayed once we close whatsapp app for a while|

This is caused by a bug in the whatsapp app, the app seems go to "sleep" after we close it, and does not run in the background properly.

For all of you who experience this problem with whatsapp on ios, here is the fix:

1. Go to google and just type "Whatsapp Group List". If you have no particular interest just join any random group that you found (as much as you can). But for me i interested in gaming and music so i find groups with that topic (Does not really matter tho). We will not be active in these groups, these groups we join just to help fix the whatsapp bug.

2. Join as many ACTIVE group as you can, the goal is to join 50+ Group, 100+ is better, but make sure they are all active group with the members actively messaging.

3. Once you join the groups, simply archive them, so they wont send notifications and crowd your main whatsapp screen. Tick the "Keep Archive" on the setting, so those groups will still be archived when new message is received.

After doing those steps i no longer getting message delayed on my whatsapp and all the calls i received are coming through. I think this fix keep the whatsapp running in background because messages are constantly received.
