Since upgrading to TVOS 17.2, the TV app has been having odd problems where it won’t work properly until I killed the app and restart it.

Things I’ve seen which require closing the TV app to fix include:

1. Items I choose from search or from the top shelf not playing when I pick them. Instead the TV app just jumps to the Home page screen.

2. Library empty.


Anyone else?
 
I keep having the same issue. Can’t select any shows in the apple app or select anything in the new side menu. Only fix is restart Apple TV but than only fixes for awhile. It comes back pretty much daily

A quicker fix is to kill the TV app. Double click the TV button and then swipe up on the TV app (similar to iOS).
