TV app in Catalina: no shows in my library!

i just updated my MacBook Air to Catalina, and decided to play with the new TV app. when i go to Library, i don't see any of my TV Shows nor Movies. if i look under Watch Now, my recent shows/movies are on the main page and i can scroll horizontally to reveal most (if not all) of what i own.

anyone else seen this bug?
