I rely pretty heavily on this because I organize content by show name.

I do not rely upon the show name being part of the cover art of the tv show itself but rather the text that displays it.

But in iPadOS26 on my mini It's not showing me the show name it's. I'm only seeing the number of episodes.

I cannot begin to explain how this is such a huge downgrade. Surely Apple understands the significance of taking things away like this.
 
Agree. And film cover art can be cluttered making it hard to determine a title at a glance.
It's not just that it's more about how when you are using content that isn't packaged from a store with cover art there's no mention of the show name on on the frame that's used for the icon.

Assuming that all videos in the grid would have cover art just isn't right.
