TV channels on ibook

how do i watch tv channels on my Mac ibook.....? not totally understanding Macs so all help needed. Wanted to watch more4 but couldnt access - said it would only work on a pc. and only got vodafone usb plug in as broadband. could it still work?

BBC iPlayer works if you accept being a iPlayer labs tester but Channel 4 are not on board yet. You could use Parallels/VirtualBox/Boot Camp to install Windows.
