I recently hooked my Macbook Pro (2.2, Leopard) up to a 32" LG 32LH20 HDTV. The first week I had no problems with using it as a computer display (DVI/VGA adaptor-VGA cable-TV) or for my game console via HDMI.
I didn't use it for 2 days while I was gone but when I came back the display, only when in PC mode, is now all whacked out. I originally had it set to 1280*720 but when I fired it up for the first 20 minutes the picture was fuzzy, there were 'waves' running through it, and text was unreadable. Changing it to 1360*768 improved things but still, text is fuzzier then it used to be and there are ever so subtle glitches (waves, slightly shaky picture) in the screen. After about 20 minutes, when I change it back to 1280*720 the display is perfect but it's still a little shaky in 1360*768... any ideas on what's going on? Doesn't really make sense to me, playing with the tv settings doesn't seem to help... and for some reason this only happens when the computer is in 'clam shell mode' with the laptop folded and the computer on. When both displays are fired up there is no problem.
