TV Guide app?

This would be really nice. I'm tired of switching to channel 99 (I have basic cable) to see whats on and waiting those long minutes for the channels to slowly scroll along to the one that I want to see. Why not have an app where you would go to your computer and a see your own selected channel's upcoming shows updated to the second.

Couldn't you just bookmark http://www.tvguide.com/Listings/ so you can look at the grid without it moving on you? It already lets you set up a custom view.

I've got a Dashboard widget for this. Just have a look on the Apple widget site and see if you can find one that suits your needs.

I am not aware of any dedicated TV guide apps, but there are at least two which use TV Guide competitor Zap2it.com. They are MacProgramGuide and Fat Cat.

Yup - a widget for me too. It's probably the one that get's the most use.

I use the one built into EyeTV and set it to use the DVB system so I don't have to fork out for TvTv.

You could just save the TV Week section of the Sunday Courier-Journal.
